The Super Chronomat B01 44 comes in three versions. Two are encased in stainless steel with blue or black dial and bezel combinations. The third is a rich brown dial and bezel combination with an 18k red gold case. All feature contrasting silver chronograph counters powered by the COSC-certified Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, which provides approximately 70 hours of power reserve. This Super Chronomat is water resistant to 200 meters.
For those who want something a little more special, there is a black dial version where the watchmaker has embedded a UTC module into the Rouleaux bracelet. In reference to Universal Time Coordinated, this provides a way to keep track of a second time zone
and is a peculiar Breitling feature dating back to the 1980s.
As the name suggests, the Super Chronomat 44 quadrennial calendar features a semi-perpetual calendar mechanism that the wearer only needs to adjust every leap year or every 1,461 days. Comes in two versions: black dial with tone-on-tone chronograph counters,
stainless steel bezel with black ceramic bezel insert and 18k red gold elements,
or blue dial with tone-on-tone chronograph counters and red gold bezel 18k with blue ceramic insert.
Water-resistant to 100 meters, Breitling has equipped the watch with the Breitling Calibre 19, a COSC-certified chronograph movement with a semi-perpetual calendar with day,
date, month and moon phase displays.
